The 1st Annual New York Pizza Festival hosted by the Belmont Business Improvement District was a national, star-studded, 2-day event showcasing the talents of the most renowned US Pizza Makers, Chefs, culinary personalities, as well as top pizza makers from Italy.
– Over 30,000 people attended the first New York Pizza Festival!
– New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio came!
– The Consulate General of Italy in NY, Francesco Genuardi also attended!
– Over 8,000 pizzas were made by 50 pizza makers and over 2,160 pounds of Ciao tomatoes, 3,000 pounds of Caputo flour and 6,000 pounds of Belgioioso mozzarella were consumed!
