Born in Naples, Italy, pizza made its way around the globe, but it is NEW YORK, the home of many Neapolitan immigrants that rooted itself in this historic product and became the most important Pizza City in the United States, if not the world.
The second annual New York Pizza Festival will take place on October 5 – 6, 2019 on Crescent Avenue, parallel to the famous Arthur Avenue in the ‘Little Italy’ of the Bronx.
Hosted by the Belmont Business Improvement District and the Pizza Academy Foundation, the New York Pizza Festival will once again bring the most renowned PIZZAIOLI, from around the United States, including some of the best from New York and some of the best from Naples, Italy, to one block, to celebrate their craft for the people who live in and around New York.
Before last year’s premiere festival, it had never been possible to eat pizza made by the best of the best, all in one place, at one time!
From famed John Arena of Metro Pizza in Las Vegas and Roberto Caporuscio of Keste and Don Antonio in New York to Gino Sorbillo of Sorbillo Napoli in New York and Naples, the festival includes many super talented and sought out pizzaioli!
The street will be lined with 30+ Pizzeria Stations. NO TICKETS NECESSARY TO ENTER. You will only need tickets if you want to EAT and DRINK! There will be water, coffee, and more as well as an over 21 area for Beer and Wine. From CAPUTO Flour and CIAO tomatoes to Birra Moretti and Ferrarelle water, the best food companies in the business are helping to sponsor this wonderful event. Come and ENJOY!
